Agile Beer Night - January

Agile Beer Night is next Thursday, January 29 at the Owl and Thistle Irish pub in downtown Seattle. It's on Post and Columbia at 808 Post Ave. Please join us there from 5 - 7PM for beer, some good food, and talk about Agile Software development.

This month's topic is "What makes an Agile Developer." What are the practices, techniques, and tools that make a successful agile software developer? Bring your opinions and input and share them with us! Or, come to find out for yourself how you might be able to improve your own practices... Either way, we'll see you at the Owl next Thursday!

Be there or bee2!

This is close to the offices of Atlas, a division of Microsoft Advertising. We were part of the aQuantive acquisition, and have been a 100% eXtreme Programming shop for over 3.5 years. We have 150 developers engaged in paired programming, TDD, weekly iterations, and continuous integration, with no QA team.

I publicized the event broadly within our org, and hopefully we'll have a number of other managers joining us. If you're interested in learning about agile from a manager's perspective, this would be a great opportunity!
