The meetings in November and December are going to be the Thursday a week before the last Thursday, due to the holidays those months. The December meeting will be on Thursday December 18. This should be plenty of advanced notice... so please plan to be there! The link to the pub's site and map is in the right column ==>.

Wow we had such a great meeting this evening. Had a fair turnout, but it's quality not quantity right? Lots of great conversations about many topics - Agile, Languages, Tools, and of course Advertising!

I created a mailing list for those who wish to be involved, it's on the blurb on the right column. Please subscribe!

I will be sending out only two mails a month, one a week before the meeting, and one the day before, just to remind folks and let everyone know what's coming up at the monthly meeting. No spam, I promise.

There were some complaints about Tuesdays, so from now on the meetings will be the last Thursday of the month, with the exception of November and December, since those are the holidays. The next meeting will be the week before Thanksgiving, Thursday November 20 at 5PM at Daman's Pub. The link is on the right for directions. The December meeting will be on December 18. I will post reminders periodically. Put it on your calendars, and plan ahead today!

BTW if there are any suggestions for speakers, topics, or the like, please feel free to post them or send them to the mailing list.

Well folks, dang - it's already halfway through October and I haven't scheduled October's Agile Beer Night yet!

Unfortunately I won't be able to make it all the way over to Seattle this month, so the October Agile Beer Night will be at 5PM on October 28 at Daman's Pub in Redmond.

Daman's Pub is on 148th Ave NE, just south of the 520 freeway on-ramp on the East side of the street. It's a nice place and hopefully a little kinder to multiple-check parties than the last joint... They have great food and of course... BEER! Be there before 5:30 to take advantage of the happy hour discounts on drinks and food. Menus and beers on tap are listed on their web site.

So BOO and Happy Octobeer!

Remember, it's 5PM on Tuesday the 28th at Daman's... see you there!

Parking can be a bear there, depending on how many people show up... You can take the ST545 bus and get off at the West Lake Sammamish stop, it's right across the street from the pub. Couldn't be more convenient! It goes all the way from Seattle out to the Bear Creek P&R, and it runs both directions early until late.

Beer There or Be Thirsty!

If anyone has any suggestions for a topic of conversation, or a speaker that might be willing to present something on Agile for about 15-20 minutes, please respond and let us know! There aren't projection facilities but someone could just get a round-table discussion going, or say a few words about a particular topic.

P.P.S. For those of you who are in Seattle, there is a direct bus, the Sound Transit 545 that runs very frequently all evening, and has a stop in Redmond literally across the street from the pub. That makes it really easy and no driving and parking! Plus then you can have an extra pint! Bonus!
